The House That Is Not There Anymore

Time is elastic
like the ball
we used to play with
when we were kids
and the small, rooftop room
in grandma's house
filled with dusted magazines
and we would spend hours
if not days
reading them
watching their pictures
living their characters lives
and forgetting everything else
because time
is elastic
after all
