I found this quote in the book, "Leadership Dojo", by Richard Srtrozzi-Heckler (p. 85)

``But the awakened and knowing say: Body am I entirely, and nothing else; and soul is only a word for something about the body. Behind your thoughts and feelings, my brother, there stands a mighty ruler, an unknown sage---whose name is self. In your body he dwells; he is your body." Friedrich Nietzche, Thus Spake Zarathustra

Cliff Story

Man looked up at the high mountain
Chose a difficult path to an upward cliff

At the top of the cliff, a moment of pride
Looked up again, sizing up the higher peaks

A hand glider, and a sudden thought
Could be nice to glide his way up

Surfing the wind, feeling the breeze of the high mountain
He thought, an approaching cliff should look uncompromising

Zen Moment

You drive fast and get a glimpse of flowers
Drive slower and see colors and patterns
Even slower,  and can smell them too
Walk and touch them
You stand  ... still ...

Contact and Rhythm

From: Richard Strozzi Heckler, "The Anatomy of Change, A Way to Move Through Life's Transitions," 1993

``Contact that comes from an embodied living presence is the energetic tide of our reaching out and collecting back in. Like a wave that momentarily distinguishes itself from the ocean, builds, crests, reaches to the shore, and then recedes to again collect itself for another beginning, our contact reflects the connecting pulse of life in its ebb and flow. ... And to best understand how to be in contact, we need to understand our excitement and its rhythms, ...'' p. 126

An Excerpt:

Trey McIntyre Project

We went to see their performance, contemporary ballet, at the Rialto (GSU performance center) on Saturday night. They are very good! We especially loved the "Ten Pin Episodes" featuring Frédéric Chopin music (24 preludes), a contemplative meditative piece and really amazing!
