  1. awakening art...

    "In 2002 it was estimated that there were 100,000 prostitutes working in Tehran". This is a big number.

  2. to the extent that prostitution may be a symptom of social and economic disorders, I share your concerns

    but other than than, i tend to think of sex workers as workers in other professions, too much stigma is attached to them

    I like modern arts very much; but honestly, this collection does not attract my attention very much.
    Don't know! Perhaps I look for something very special in the art works which -I think- does not exist in this one!

  4. Thanks for your comment, I certainly appreciate that people have different tastes and viewpoints in evaluating art works.

    I liked them for picturing some new and interesting aspects of the life of sex workers, in some sense by disfiguring the faces she has made them more human and less sex objects.
    To be honest, I also do not share much of the disgust that many people feel toward sex workers ...
